Monster High Deuce Gorgon Doll - Fashion Doll for Kids & Collectors | Perfect for Play, Travel & Display

I bought this for my little girl and we have many monster high dolls so I know looking for the hot ghoul is stressful. I went to a website called zoolert you pick the items you are looking for and a text message, email, or alert on the computer will sound when it is stock at normal price. This is how I got this toy from amazon without paying the high price for it, this did take some time though. I would get a text message run to the computer add it to cart and go to pay and it would already be out of stock, I did this 4 times in one day. I did not give up and it did work finally and now she will have a boy monster in time for Christmas. I hope this will help someone with this toy or any thing like. I also got my daughters furby sling bag and chair this way as well for normal price. *****Edit***** We got the doll in and it is great, he goes great with the other dolls and its nice to have another boy. His eye look like snake eyes, he does have a tattoo on his arm and his snakes on hid head did mark up the box on the inside, but his snakes were fine no paint missing. Only thing I will say is that his clothes are not as dressy as the other dolls from the Scaris line, (I knew that buying him that why i still gave him 5 stars) I will be trying to find him something nicer to wear for my daughter.About time Deuce got articulated wrists! What a welcome addition.Also great to see him back in doll form. With the original release and dotd near impossible for a lot of people to find, it's great to have a budget option available. Problem is, the distribution. Since ordering this boy hasn't been back in stock and the resellers here are smoking something if they think people are going to pay the $60-80 they're asking for a doll that was $14!as a doll, he's lovely. Very very similar to his original release, though his snake hair has a deeper gradient effect which actually looks a lot better imo. His glasses are also see through, unlike his original release so even with his glasses on, you can make out his eyes. A nice touch, I always felt it was a shame you had to cover up his eyes in his original release.His little man purse is hilariously tiny, not sure what he could fit into it realistically but it's nicely moulded and detailed with his unique skullette emblazoned.His costume is good, though his hood will NOT fit over his snake hawk at all. It'd look odd up anyway what with the plastic moulded snakes distorting the hood shape, but worth noting that the hood really is for "decoration" only.Overall, he's a basic doll but a fine addition to any collection. I'm pleased to have found him at retail price. Those who already own first wave Deuce may wish to get this one purely for the upgraded articulation.First let me say that these boy dolls are ridiculously hard to get. I didn't manage to get one for my daughter for Christmas but I did manage to snag one the other day just in time for her Valentines birthday. I agree with previous posters that if you really want to get these boy dolls, it takes a little time and patience. It became a challenge for me. First, I set up my Amazon account with one click buying-this is a must! Then I made sure that that exact page was either always up on my computer or on my favorites or in my new tab page. Then I set up the zoo alerts to go straight to my phone. After that it's a little of luck thrown in. I can't tell you how many times I was in the car or working when I would get an alert and unable to get to the computer but the other day I happen to get the alert as I was sitting at the computer and because everything was set up, was able to get it. They go fast, within minutes they were gone again so obviously lots of people are doing this. Is this beyond ridiculous? YES. Like I said though I considered it a challenge and did a touchdown dance when it actually went through! I have also called Mattel and written to Mattel to complain about the limited boys and the issue with the CAM body parts. I love these dolls, just wish they were more accessible.My little sister is a monster high maniac ! She fell in love with the whole Scaris dolls the minute they came out. We managed to snatch up Jinafire first. I recently got her Scaris Rochelle Goyle and the Basic Travel Ghoulia and Abbey for Christmas but I wanted to get her Deuce as well. AND BOY, IS HE LIKE IMPOSSIBLE lol.Hint to those who want Deuce,I had an alert on my phone that told me when he came into stock on amazon because amazon has the cheapest price for him - $14.50 ! Don't get him for anything more ! Oh, and the alerts always were a little late coming in so every time I saw he was available, I rushed to the site and tried to purchase him. I'd get all the way to confirming my order and BOOM, SOLD OUT. This happened to me like 3 times today and it annoyed me so bad. I ended up refreshing this page over and over again for about 20 minutes, and the minute he was available, there were only 4 left in stock. I got him in an instant !! funny thing too, after I successfully purchased him, THATS when I got my alert for him being in stock. lol. so , if you really want him, refresh refresh refresh !my sister is gonna be one happy girl.Update: I think amazon may be finally out of stock on these, but fear not, I have a feeling now that the holidays are over, you'll be seeing them in stores(I hope)The doll is awesome, love the snake hair, my daughter adores him and there have been endless adventures since we got him :)HOW I GOT MINE last nite(12/5). I sat with my ipad, on the deuce product page, and kept hitting this item on the left menu every second...I kept my one click ordering on...it took about an hour of hitting the button over and over every second but that 14.49 option finally popped up and I hit that one click button and got him, literally 2 seconds later there werent anymore. SO YOU CAN DO IT!!!KEEP TRYING!!!Also, the create a monster boy doll pack is really cool if you havent been able to find any boy dolls, its basically two whole dolls 1 vampire 1 gargoyle(with one hair piece) but the gargoyle looks better bald anyway :) and ken doll clothes fit them fine. GOOD LUCK GHOULS!!My Grandchildren love these and this one is no exception. Wonderfully made and so original. This item was sent by air I think, it came so quickly! Well packaged in it's original pack then put into a cardboard box! Couldn't be better and the price was well in order .I purchased this item for my granddaughter who is 6 and a very big fan of Monster High dolls. The delivery on this item was excellent. Unfortunately the box was very battered which is a shame as it is a birthday present, but the doll itself looks to be fine.Amazon saved my life!!!! I had looked for this as my daughter has it on her Christmas list and was unable to find in any retailer, bit more expensive than the girl monster high but will be worth it for my daughters smile Christmas morning!!!!!this item is a xmas present for one of my grandchildren,there was a mix up at the post office sorting officeor I would have got it earlierI bought this for my niece who is into these toys, i can't comment about the toy itself BUT she loved it and it arrived in good time.
