Cute as a button, isn't it? I purchased this product for a friend of mine who collects Kokeshi dolls. Little did I know that it was not even close to the excellent quality typical of a true Japanese handmade doll. Check the feel, look, craftsmanship and quality of a real Kokeshi doll and look at the bottom for an ink stamp. If you're just looking for something to add to your decor or a toy for a child, this product is fine but not the real thing.its just what i expect from a kokeshi, i thought it was going to be bigger.
